Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin Blue all have services into Mackay which is approx. 150 km south of Airlie Beach.

Because of limited storage space for backpacks and suitcases we would ask that you bring your luggage in a small soft bag.
Fabsail can store your excess luggage free of charge while you are onboard.

There is a bottle shop at the Marina where you can purchase any alcohol you require.                   

There is drinking water onboard or you can purchase bottled water onboard or alternatively you are welcome to bring your own.
Once you leave the Marina you leave the shops behind so remember to buy what you need prior to departure.
Smoking is allowed above deck only and with consideration to other passengers.

You will be met by a Fabsail representative at the Marina Kiosk at 8.30am for a 9.00am departure.
Before departing you will be made aware that October - May is the official stinger season. Hire of stinger suits is strongly recommended, not only for protection against stingers but to protect against the sun. Hire charges are $15.00 per person for the duration of your trip.

GREAT BARRIER REEF MARINE PARK LEVY

A Marine Park levy is charged to anyone entering the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
The levy consists of: $4.50 per person per day.
The National Parks and Wildlife require a fee of $1.50 per person per day.
Admin. Charge inclusive of Insurance of $3.00 per person per day.
